Pioneer DJM-5000 Rackmount DJ Mixer

Are you in the market of expanding your skills as a DJ with a professional unit that’s state of the art and can be used for any type of show? The new DJM-5000 Rackmount DJ Mixer from Pioneer is a new unit that’s worth checking out. Some main features include: digital input, peak level meter, cross fader assign and curve adjustment, three-band EQ and mic effects, fader start play, and a 19” rack for solid mounting.

Multizone feature

The Pioneer DJM-5000 Rackmount DJ mixer lets you control two separat

e outputs from one unit. If you’re quick on your feet and have already gotten acquainted with previous models of Pioneer DJ mixers, then this unit is perfect for you: it’s like having two devices in one. For example, you can have a rave area on one floor of a club, and a reggae area on another floor. Then, if you want to get on the mic to announce something, or sing/rap over a beat, the Pioneer DJM-5000 Rackmount lets you pick which output you want to connect to. Not all DJ mixers have this function.

Production-quality studio sound clarity

Digital 96kHz/24-bit sound delivers studio-like experience (even if the input was analog), leaving you with nothing but the best, crisp clarity with minimal noise. Signal processing is done in 32 bits as to not ruin the quality. This has been pioneered by the DJM-1000, and the DJM-5000 carries this feature over on this new model.

3 USB audio input plugs

You can set the Pioneer DJM-5000 Rackmount DJ Mixer to play back music from a PC or a Mac – laptop or not, it’s great for artists who manage their music in a large database rather than CDs or iPods. If you have ASIO-compatible software, you can even output stereo signal. Not too shabby for the new Pioneer DJM-5000!

Environment check

Based on your venue, you can use special knobs to adjust the settings of the Pioneer DJM-5000 Rackmount DJ Mixer to fit the sound requirements.

Four additional mic effects and EQ options let you tailor the DJM-500 to any setting. An advanced mic voiceover keeps your vocals clear – even if you’re on the mic talking over loud music – giving you the ability to excite the crowd with the music fully blasting. Definitely not a cheap unit, but for pros who wish to manage multiple areas at once the Pioneer DJM-5000 is a must-have.
